Some of the first Procreate brushes that first went out to newsletter subscribers were these yummy “markers” that resemble Posca and Micron pens! They’re great for botanical line art, for adding details on top of digital watercolor paintings, and so much more. The Posca brush is painty and luscious. The Micron brush is so real that it even has a bit of a bumpy edge as if there’s a tiny bit of bleed on the “paper” canvas! I find myself using them ALL THE TIME. But sometimes it can be so exciting to get new brushes that older ones get forgotten about! So here’s a reminder to everyone, in case they have been buried deep in your ever-growing list of Procreate brushsets. (I see you, I know how it goes😉).
If you don’t have them yet, you can get them for free as a newsletter subscriber! Once you subscribe, you’ll have a password and to get to these particular brushes you’ll want to go all the way back to the 2021 freebies! I truly hope you enjoy them!

I would love to see how you use Micron and Posca pens in your work! I’m not on Meta any more (this is a 2025 update) but I am on Substack! It’s a great platform and many artists are there! I used to think it was only for writers!
More Freebies!
While you are grabbing those freebies, you can also get the poppy stamp brushes I used to make the pattern above!
